About the Owners

Rhoda Otero has been a part time pet sitter for the last 10 years while also operating a child daycare home. She has gotten to know many wonderful people and their pets in the Reston and surrounding areas and truly loves all the dogs and cats she cares for.

Rhoda recently decided to give up her 18 year old daycare business to work with animals on a full time basis. Since becoming co owner of Villaridge, she has continued to sign up new clients and added excellent pet sitters to the existing staff of animal lovers while taking great care of Nan's (the previous owner) established clientele.

Villaridge clients have enjoyed very personalized service over the years and Rhoda is committed to keep it that way. She looks forward to providing peace of mind for pet owners for many years to come.

Sarah Parkinson worked for Villaridge Pet Care as a Pet Sitter and Asst. Manager for nearly 2 years before she was presented with the opportunity to be the co owner of Villaridge Pet Sitters. She has had the pleasure of getting to know most of the clients and pets that Nan Cox had been serving for nearly three years and the transition to co ownership of the company was an easy one for her.

Sarah has plenty of experience with pets. Her Vet Tech training was in the UK and she managed an Emergency Vet Clinic in Nigeria for 4 years. She is able to give medication and injections to pets and has been a very useful resource to Rhoda Otero and the Villaridge Pet Sitters Staff.

Sarah is a lifetime pet owner and truly loves working with animals.
